Ever heard of the saying, "kill 2 birds with one stone." Yes, it does sound slightly morbid. Maybe the saying "Free 2 birds with one key" sounds a little better... any who... maybe you are like me and love being able to achieve two things you want to accomplish with only doing one task?
So how can we get the most out of our nutrition, all while benefiting our hair?
In today's world we are fast paced. Do you ever go to put your head down at night and feel like your head is still spinning from all that you did in that day? We have all these wonderful inventions that are intended to make our lives easier but I don't know about you, I feel like I have less time for things, even though I have things like my laundry lady and master dishwasher i.e my washing machine and dishwasher.
I love to utilize my time by effectively accomplishing as much as I can while doing one task. Like planning my meals ahead and freezing a meal to have for those crazy days, doing a hair mask while working out, whitening my teeth while vacuuming... why not!!! Or one of my favourites loading a smoothie chock full of nutrients to make sure I'm getting as much as I can in a day to stay healthy. The effectiveness of smoothies makes it totally worth it.
Here are a few smoothies recipes I love that not only double as nourishing your body but also your hair. BONUS: They taste amazing too!
